Tip "La Honte"
Website on the bookThis project is an artistic and introspective exploration inspired by Annie Ernaux's “La Honte”, in which the author revisits a traumatic event in her childhood: the attempted murder of her mother by her father. The study focuses on the weight of the social gaze, the shame linked to social origins and its impact on the construction of identity.
The project is divided into three audiovisual settings, each representing a central emotion: fear, shame and appeasement, through minimalist installations.
These videos, inspired by the works of John Armleder and other artistic references, play on the contrast between a cold setting and emotionally charged elements, exploring themes of remembrance, the social gaze and personal evolution.
I then designed a website to showcase the various videos I had created.
